Conference Overview
We are excited to bring to you the Inaugural Gulf Pediatric Critical Care Conference “Forging Connections: Enhancing Critical Care for Children”.
The conference will be hosted by Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar from 23 to 26 January 2025.
Our goal is to explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and foster collaboration in the realm of pediatric critical care.
The four-day event will also include keynote presentations, panel discussions, and workshops (separate fee) as well as networking opportunities designed to inspire, educate, and empower attendees.

Conference Objectives
- Recall the basic principles of ECMO therapy and its application in pediatric care.
- Explain the basic principles and approach to managing the difficult airway in pediatric care.
- Apply innovative strategies and best practices in pediatric critical care in clinical scenarios.
- Analyze evidence-based guidelines and explain their role in ensuring optimal patient care.
- Implement strategies learned from high-quality educational sessions (keynotes, panels, workshops) into real-world clinical settings.
- Demonstrate the application of principles of NIV through clinical hands-on workshops, ensuring the safe usage of NIV in acute care.
- Apply principles of CKRT, Apheresis, and Tandem extracorporeal therapies through clinical hands-on workshops in the acute care setting.
