Doha, January 30 (QNA) - The Qatari women's volleyball team left Thursday for Kuwait to participate in the international friendly tournament for women, which starts tomorrow and continues until February 5.
The Qatari team's participation in this tournament comes within the framework of its preparations for upcoming tournaments, and aims to enhance the international experience of the players.
The tournament includes 8 teams divided into two groups, as Qatar will play its matches in the second group, which includes Tunisia, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, while the first group is made up of Kuwait, Switzerland, Iraq and the UAE.
The mission is headed by Amna Al Kuwari, member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Volleyball Association and head of the Women's Sports Committee in the association.
It includes players Huda Al Mubarak, Sumaya Al Madhoun, Laila Mohammed, Lujain Mohammed, Walden Al Waleed, Maryam Moheb, Sarah Mohammed, Malak Hashem, Haya Abu Issa, Aisha Sultan, Al Mayassa Diab, Tasneem Yasser, Fatima Al Dosari, and Elissa. (QNA)
