If so, Zulal Wellness Resort is looking for a Sustainability Supervisor to drive initiatives that align with CHIVA-SOM and Preserve Zulal's mission of sustainability, conservation, and community engagement.
Candidate Experience:
Lead efforts to enhance environmental and social responsibility through educational activities, research, and awareness campaigns.
Manage and oversee internal and external sustainability projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote sustainability practices among team members and resort guests.Ensure the resort adheres to environmental laws and sustainability standards while integrating best practices in daily operations.Conduct environmental research and publish an annual sustainability report highlighting the resort’s progress and impact.Deliver presentations and represent the resort in sustainability conferences, educational sessions, and awareness programs.Implement strategies to enhance safety, energy conservation, and environmental protection within the resort.Work with local communities and stakeholders to develop impactful sustainability programs that align with the resort’s mission.Candidates' Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 2 years in sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or a related field.Experience with sustainability programs, corporate responsibility initiatives, and environmental systems, particularly in hospitality or wellness resorts.Familiarity with eco-certifications, sustainable hospitality practices, and CSR initiatives within the hospitality or wellness industry.Understanding of local and international environmental policies, laws, and compliance standards relevant to the hospitality sector.Ability to conduct sustainability research, assess environmental impact, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.Ability to develop engaging sustainability campaigns, educational materials, and community outreach programs.Proven ability to plan, implement, and monitor sustainability programs, including organizing events and CSR initiatives.Ability to develop new sustainability initiatives that enhance guest experiences and reinforce the resort’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
