Doha, February 19 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) organized the inaugural career fair in the attendance of HE MOEHE Undersecretary Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi.
The event at Hassan Bin Thabit Secondary School for Boys, was also attended by Chairperson of Kuwait's National Development Project (Atamana) Shaikha Hessa bint Salem Al Sabah, along with several MOEHE officials, school principals, and representatives from the German and French embassies.
The Fair aimed to provide career and academic guidance to students, directing them towards educational and professional paths that ensure a successful and prosperous future. It offered specialized consultations for students and parents, opening up a wide range of scholarship and academic opportunities.
A number of local and international universities, as well as various companies and professional institutions, participated in the Fair, showcasing their academic and training programs and providing advice to students about available majors and job market opportunities.
HE Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi emphasized the Ministry's commitment to organizing university and career fairs that allow students to meet representatives from various universities and institutions, and learn about academic programs and majors that match their aspirations, which helps facilitate their transition from secondary to university education and aligns them with suitable academic and career paths.
Principal of Hassan Bin Thabit Secondary School Ahmed Yousef Al Mahmoud expressed his happiness with the success of the Fair, highlighting its importance in achieving the Ministry's vision of preparing and qualifying students for a successful future.
He praised the wide participation from universities and institutions, underscoring the importance of enhancing such events in the future.
The Fair included a variety of programs and workshops presented by experts and specialists in university education and scholarships, providing students with the opportunity to benefit from their expertise and knowledge in planning their academic and professional futures.
At the conclusion of the event, the school administration honored the participating entities in appreciation of their contribution to the success of the first Career Fair at Hassan Bin Thabit Secondary School.Â
